Responsibilities of a Member of Kiwanis:
- Learn about Kiwanis and our Club
- Log-in and use the Club Runner system in order to ensure profile accuracy & volunteer sign-ups
- Make regular weekly meeting attendance a scheduling priority
- Actively participate in community service and other volunteer opportunities throughout the year
- Help with fundraising events with an emphasis on our Annual Pancake Festival
- Pay dues quarterly in a timely manner*
- Serve on standing and working committees upon request
- Volunteer to be responsible for an aspect of club administration such as set-up/breakdown, 50/50 sales, Health & Happiness reporting, introduction of program speakers
- Encourage new member recruitment through visitors and general club promotion in the community
*Dues are currently $165 per quarter and include the cost of annual Kiwanis International & Carolinas District Dues, the Kiwanis magazine, a weekly e-newsletter, administrative costs of operating the club, and weekly meals at our meetings at the Country Club of Salisbury.
